What you are making
A 12-second vertical night clip. The camera creeps across a dark street toward the one lit window in an apartment block. You are inside, dancing next to a little speaker. You notice the camera, freeze, grin, and pull the curtain shut. One adult follows the approximately 12-second reference.
| Spec | Value |
|---|---|
| Length | About 12 s |
| Format | 9:16 vertical MP4, 720p |
| Sound | Unchanged reference soundtrack |
| Watermark | None |
| Render time | Usually 3 to 6 minutes |
Step 1: choose a photo the model can read
The photo decides more than anything else. The model needs to see your face clearly to keep it through a whole dance.
| Use | Avoid |
|---|---|
| One adult, face forward | Group shots for the solo version |
| Waist up or full body | Tiny faces in a wide landscape shot |
| Even daylight or room light | Hard shadows across the face |
| No filters | Beauty filters, sunglasses, masks |
| JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB | Screenshots with text on them |
Your outfit carries over. Wear something you would actually dance in, or the joke lands less well.
Step 2: start the video
Upload the photo, confirm you have permission to use it and tap Start my video. This uses one video credit. Single videos are $9.90, with discounts in 3 and 5 packs.
Step 3: approve your appearance preview
Before any video renders, you see an appearance preview in the reference window scene. Check the face, hair and outfit. You get up to three tries, either a retry with the same photo or a different photo. Tries that fail on our side do not count.
- Face looks like you from a few steps away.
- You are inside the window, not floating in front of the glass.
- One adult only, with no stray arms or extra faces.
When it looks right, tap Looks like me. The video model then edits the reference performer using your photo and approved preview. The preview guides appearance, while the reference video determines the moves and camera.
Step 4: download and post
Download the MP4 as soon as it is ready. Links stay live for about 14 days, and every video also waits in My videos. Post it to TikTok, Reels or Shorts, keep the included reference soundtrack or choose another in the app, and turn on the AI-generated label.
