Find the sound on TikTok
- Open any Window Dance post.
- Tap the spinning record or the sound name at the bottom.
- Tap Use this sound, or save it to Favorites for later.
Different template versions ship with different edits of the sound. Use the one from the post whose vibe you like best.
Add it on Instagram Reels
Open a Window Dance Reel, tap the audio name, then Use audio. Upload your video, and Instagram lines the sound up for you. Lower your original audio to zero if you only want the trend sound.
What audio our videos have
New Window Dance AI downloads include the fixed reference soundtrack. It is added to the silent generated picture without changing the recording. If you choose another sound when posting, mute the existing track to avoid overlapping music.
Posting with the right sound, step by step
- Download your Window Dance MP4 to your phone.
- In TikTok, tap + and upload the video from your gallery.
- Tap Add sound, then search "window dance" or open Favorites if you saved the trend sound earlier.
- Set the original video volume to zero if you only want the trend sound.
- Add your caption and hashtags, turn on the AI-generated content label, and post.
On Instagram Reels the steps are the same: open the audio browser, search the trend or tap Use audio on a trend Reel, then lower your original audio.
Music rights, in plain words
Trend sounds inside TikTok and Instagram are licensed for use on those platforms. If you want to use your video somewhere else, such as an ad, a YouTube channel you monetize or a client project, replace the music with a track you have the rights to.
Sound problems and fixes
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| The sound is "unavailable" in my region | Pick another Window Dance post and use its sound, or use a royalty-free beat |
| Two songs play at once | Set the original video volume to zero in the editor |
| The beat does not line up with the dance | Trim the sound start by a fraction of a second in the editor |
| My post was muted after upload | The sound was not licensed for your account type; swap it for one from the in-app library |
FAQ
What song is used in the Window Dance trend?
Trend posts use the pop track that came with the CapCut template rather than one fixed chart song. Open any Window Dance post and tap its sound to use the exact version.
Do Window Dance AI videos come with music?
Yes. New videos include the fixed reference soundtrack. The music is added separately rather than regenerated by the video model.
Why was my Window Dance video muted?
Business accounts and some regions can only use commercially licensed sounds. Choose a sound from the in-app commercial library and post again.
